Kraftwerk’s 1977 masterpiece echoes 1974’s ‘Autobahn’ with its evocation of travel, this time a journey through the fading elegance of European cities by train. The forward motion and heaviness of the title track suite is countered by the romantic beauty of the nine-minute ‘Europa Endlosss’ and the more sinister stylings of ‘Schaufensterpuppen’ and ‘Spiegelsaal’. This is the Kling Klang remaster, presented with minimalist artwork. The original artwork is replicated in the 16-page booklet.
