ES794 Reader Offer: Cosey Fanni Tutti Seven-Inch
This month's Electronic Sound cover star is the magnificent Cosey Fanni Tutti. We have a fantastic supporting cast too, including Neu!, Gabe Gurnsey, Editors, Clare Grogan, William Orbit, The Advisory Circle and Maximum Joy. Plus a piece about the night that Einstürzende Neubauten played with Showaddywaddy, which has to be one of the weirdest gigs ever.
It's a total treat for us to have an exclusive Cosey seven-inch to accompany the new issue of the magazine. Pressed on yellow vinyl, it features two tracks from the sessions for Cosey's 'Delia Derbyshire: The Myths And The Legendary Tapes' soundtrack – with a dark and ominous reshaping of 'Guitar (Twickenham Studio 3)' on one side and the equally weighty 'Amplitude' on the other. The latter is previously unreleased. "I was working off of Delia’s old patch sheets, all of which were fairly unpredictable," explains Cosey. "So I decided to record everything as I went along, which was a great way to work, especially because I know Delia used to do that sort of thing too."
As with all of our music releases, this seven-inch is strictly limited and it's only available to readers of Electronic Sound, so make sure you get your copy right away.
