The Orb – ‘U.F.Orb‘ (double marbled blue vinyl edition)

It’s a classic of the era. The Orb’s ‘U.F.Orb‘ was originally released in 1992 and hit Number One in the UK album charts. It spawned the single, ‘The Blue Room’, featuring Jah Wobble on bass. At 40 minutes long, it hardly counts as a single, but the three-minute version was aired on Top Of The Pops, when Alex Paterson and co-Orbite Kris Weston played some kind of space chess game dressed in white overalls bathed in lasers in front of a bank of TV screens. The 17-minute cut is on this double blue vinyl re-issue.
